Promotional efforts made  during  2009-2010.

 Promotional Efforts for NTSE, Olympiads 2009-2010

For science Olympiads and NTSE exams, students of classes III to XII were   encouraged to participate in these competitive exams. In the year 2008-2009, 84 students from KV RKP-IV participated in the science Olympiads and X class students participated in NTSE exam.

 Students are trained through various activities like  interactive discussions, objective type question as given in “Read ‘n’ Tick” workbook are practiced.

13 students were selected to participate in II level 11thNSO.

 12th KVS JMO 2009

Twelve students of class X participated in 12 JMO on 6-9-09.

 9NCO 2009

54 students of class II to XI participated in 9 NCO held on 10-9-2009 conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation.       


2008-09

  1. National Science Olympiad -Ms K.Anupama –XIA secured AII India Rank 205, Besides 15 more students received participation certificates with rank reaching up till 3056

2007-08

  1. 22 students of class X of the Vidyalaya participated in the 10 KVS JR Mathematics Olympiad 2007 held on 2nd September 2007.Results are awaited.

  2. 81 students of the Vidyalaya participated in the 7th National Cyber Olympiad successfully conducted at the Vidyalaya on 6th September 2007.Results are awaited.

  3. 27 students of class X and 10 students of class VIII will be appearing in the NTSE 2007-08 to be held on 18th November 2007.

  4. 84 students of the Vidyalaya will be participating in the 10th National Science Olympiad to be held on 29th November 2007

 Aparna of class XI received

cash prize of Rs. 250 in national science Olympiad

National Science Olympiad is an academic  and aptitude competition. Students are exposed to a variety of complex problems in Science and Mathematics which is very useful to them in future to appear for competitive exams like IIT and PMT etc.

The students of classes III to XII, participated in 9th National Science Olympiad Examination under the guidance of our honorable Principal Mrs U Guliani & National Science Olympiad Incharge  Ms Kavita Aggarwal.

The NSO level I examination was held on 23rd Nov 2006. A total of 43 students, participated in I level NSO. Nine students qualified for II level NSO on the basis of Merit.

All the students performed very well and received certificates of merit. Aparna Tripathi of class XII A secured 446th All India rank in level II NSO. She is awarded a special prize of Rs 250/- along with certificate of Merit.
